Announcing your new publication – for and about Chambers in Manitoba, Members and our Province

We are so pleased to announce that our new publication – titled MBiz will be in your hands and in your households on June 23rd along with 120,000 others who will receive this premier new publication. The distribution plan is such that we are reliant on Canada Post or expensive distribution systems or mailing lists. The publication will be inserted in the Saturday Winnipeg Free Press on June 23 and November 3. Other copies will be available at Chambers offices, RBC Branches and other depots that you might request.

This partnership with the Winnipeg Free Press and Free Press Publications is exciting, fresh and is designed for chambers and about chambers. We have a professional editor assigned to work with us as well as a team of top notch writers and photographers who will make this publication as top notch as the people who we will write about. We will introduce to them in the next bulletin.

This first issue will be filled with local stories from each region and we are endeavoring to have the stories written to portray innovation, insights, accomplishments, shared wisdom and a collective vision that demonstrates the tremendous group of business people who are our members.

To our chambers – we will ask you to submit ideas for stories as well as ‘info bits’ – anything that is newsy or news about your chamber, your region – your board – you name it. We have a special section planned called “New and Noteworthy” that is for anyone to submit to as well as full scale stories, photos and features that reflect each region. Please send all ideas to us via email.

The outreach is wide and deep – without the wonderful assistance of our sponsors RBC and Vale Inc. we could not endeavour such a venture. This will assure that the Chambers’ voice is heard all over the province and beyond.

And lastly…please check out the online magazine Canadian Industry Online here. This premier publication which is exclusively online and national in scope is in collaboration with the Manitoba Chambers in which we will have a Manitoba section for each issue. Please send us any and all ideas, stories or thoughts about what you would like to have included in the next issue. This is at no cost to you.
