Introduction:

This is the only virtual networking site that gives you perspectives from those who know the Manitoba context – its economic climate, regulations and laws:

  • Tap into the power of your peers at your convenience as they exchange ideas and network
  • Help out fellow businesses or chambers, giving them the benefit of your experience and perspective
  • Find out the most pressing issues and trends for Manitoba’s entrepreneurs.

If you are ready to get started now, join in or simply learn from the conversations by clicking here.

We especially hope that those who are “beginners” will find this a supportive community and a comfortable place to start being part of the digital dialog.

You should also feel free to explore! Here are some starting tips or you can ask help by emailing doverall@mbchamber.mb.ca.

If you are representing a commercial entity, please see the specific guidelines on ‘blatant’ marketing. Please also read our “spamming” policy.

NOTE: This site is part of the Manitoba Chambers’ mandate to facilitate the exchange of information between Manitoba’s entrepreneurs and local chambers. The views expressed herein do not necessarily represent the views of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce.

  1. Gimli businesses suffer labour shortage

I heard this on CBC June 21/10. I am very interested in contacting somebody with regards to this for the purpose of finding out how I can put somebodies name forward as a candidate for a position. The person in question is an educated and experience Siou Chef who currently resides in Jamaica. He works for the Sandals chain and is an excellent employee.

Who can you direct me to for information on this?

    Regards,

  2. Hi Kim,

Thanks for your post. I would contact the Third Quarter website (it has its own contact info and useful resources) at http://thirdquarter.ca/en/default.cfm
