Bio: Ken was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He graduated from Red River College with a Business Administration Diploma and continued his education in the CGA program. He and his late wife Eleanor moved to Winkler in 2002 with their two children, Gregory (18) and Melissa (15). 

Ken is a senior financial manager with extensive experience in the transportation and construction sectors. Since the sale of his most recent employer, Ken has been acting as a consultant to small business with an emphasis on business development and helping growing businesses change. 

Ken is a known and respected leader who has been privileged to contribute and serve the community in various capacities, some of which include: 

• Director and Officer, Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (2009-current);
• Chair of Audit Committee, Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (2010-current);
• Past President, Winkler & District Chamber of Commerce (2009-2011);
• President, Winkler & District Chamber of Commerce (2007-2009­);
• Treasurer, The Meeting Place (1997-2000).
